Fix build on Windows and (under certain conditions) on Darwin after commit f1aec344.

Addresses comment by Dino @Doom64hunter here. Not tested on mentioned previously-broken platforms, but I did test that the Makefile code does what it's supposed to on Linux (by adding LINUX to the list).
