Duke3D: Pausing and unpausing, as well as saving a new game causes return-to-center to trigger.
Saving a new game (particularly with autosaves) as well as pausing the game causes the return-to-center effect to trigger. This should not be happening.
This was caused by 3b3cd0e0.
The following code is responsible, in sector.cpp
line 2648:
if (pPlayer->aim_mode < (aimMode & 3))
pPlayer->return_to_center = 9;
This may be because the SK_AIMMODE
bit is not set for a frame.
